Alejandro de Casenave
To truly understand who Chef Alejandro De Casenave is, you only need to look at—and taste—his cooking. His dishes reflect passion, precision, balance, and the unmistakable touch of a master chef.
On our menu, his crab cake stands out as one of the best in the state—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and simply delicious. His pasta dishes are a testament to his talent: simple yet perfectly executed, offering pure culinary pleasure with every bite. His care in meticulously portioning each piece of Beef and Seafood, ensuring the perfect cut for flawless cooking, tells a lot about his passion and dedication to our guests.
Chef Alex first studied finance at William Paterson University before pursuing his true passion at the culinary school of Mercer County Community College. After honing his skills in various roles across North Jersey and New York City, he returned to his roots in Lawrenceville, NJ.
Previously Executive Chef at Big Fish Restaurant in Princeton, NJ, Chef Alex joined the JM Group in 2015. His passion for cooking, inspired by his grandmother, led him to become the Executive Chef of Witherspoon Grill in 2018.
When he’s not in the kitchen, Chef Alex enjoys hiking in the great outdoors or expanding his ever-growing cookbook collection.
